A pass in Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) of three credits in any subjects or its equivalent
A pass in Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) with a minimum of Grade C (GP 2.00) in any subject or its equivalent
A pass in Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) with a minimum grade of Maqbul;
A pass in Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) Level 3 in Early Child Care / Preschool and pass SPM with minimum 1 credit in ant subject
A Certificate (Level 3 Malaysian Qualifications Framework, MQF) in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or its equivalent
A Certificate (Level 3 MQF) in any field or its equivalent.
For international students, Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score of 500 or International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score of 5.0 or its equivalent. If a student does not meet this requirement, HEPs must offer English proficiency courses to ensure that the student’s proficiency is sufficient to meet the needs of the programme. The student’s proficiency is determined through an assessment process.
