Environmental health comprises those aspects of human health, including quality of life, that are determined by physical, chemical, biological, social, and psychosocial factors in the environments. It also refers to the theory and practice of assessing, correcting, controlling and preventing those factors in the environment that can potentially affect adversely the health of present and future generations.
This programme is suitable for those who love fieldwork. The learning process in this programme is interesting because not only it focuses on classroom lectures, but also includes fieldwork activities such as water quality studies, noise sampling, land surveying, food premise inspections, fogging and visits to water treatments plants.
You can utilize your skills in this field to maintain a safe supply of food and drinking water and reduce air, water, land and noise pollution.
