International students from Cyberjaya College Kuching recently participated in the EMGS Paintventure Programme, organised by Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS), alongside international students from higher education institutions across Kuching and Samarahan. The programme offered a unique opportunity for participants to strengthen friendships, embrace cultural diversity, and develop valuable teamwork skills through a day of engaging activities.
Held under the theme "Paintball – Culture – Adventure", the programme began with an exciting paintball challenge at Kelab Paintball Mambong, where students worked together to overcome team-based challenges that encouraged collaboration, communication, leadership, and strategic thinking. The activity also provided an excellent platform for students from different countries and institutions to build meaningful connections and foster lasting friendships.
The experience continued with a visit to the Sarawak Cultural Village, where participants immersed themselves in the rich cultural heritage of Sarawak through traditional performances and interactive cultural experiences. The visit provided international students with a deeper appreciation of Malaysia's diverse cultures and traditions, enriching their understanding of the local community while promoting cross-cultural exchange.
The EMGS Paintventure Programme reflects Education Malaysia Global Services' (EMGS) ongoing commitment to enhancing the international student experience in Malaysia by creating opportunities for cultural immersion, student engagement, and personal development beyond the classroom.
At Cyberjaya College Kuching, we are dedicated to providing a holistic student experience that extends beyond academics. By participating in programmes such as the EMGS Paintventure, our international students are empowered to develop global perspectives, build lifelong friendships, and gain memorable experiences that contribute to their personal growth and success while studying in Malaysia.
