In conjunction with Mental Health Awareness Month, Cyberjaya College Kuching, through its Counselling Unit, successfully organised a Mental Health Awareness Talk during the college’s May 2026 Open Day at the Multi-purpose Hall.
The session, titled “Kenali Diri, Dalam Misi Mencari Aku”, was delivered by Cik Masmida binti Mudi, Pegawai Psikologi (Kaunseling) from Klinik Kesihatan Asajaya. The programme aimed to increase awareness and understanding of mental health while encouraging students to prioritise emotional wellbeing and self-awareness in their daily lives.
Throughout the talk, participants gained valuable insights into mental health, personal development, and the importance of maintaining a positive support system. The session also highlighted the significance of recognising emotions, understanding personal challenges, and seeking support when needed, especially in today’s fast-paced academic and social environment.
The interactive and informative programme reflects Cyberjaya College Kuching’s ongoing commitment to creating a supportive and student-centred campus environment that prioritises both academic success and mental wellbeing. Through initiatives like this, the college continues to encourage healthy conversations surrounding mental health while empowering students to build resilience, confidence, and emotional balance.
